  2. Z-scores can be computed on any data set.  Why is that?

  3. What would you know about a data set that had a variance and standard deviation of zero?  What would be the mode, median, and mean for this data set?

  4. Using the standard deviation formula to document your answer, why is it fair to call standard deviation the "average difference?"
